Engineered to streamline factory logistics, this 400-meter automated loop manages the complete inbound routing of automotive seats from external suppliers straight to the shop floor.
Workflow System Architecture
The integration between component receiving and the final assembly line is managed through high-precision automated stages:
– Receiving & Sorting: Seats are received via an in-floor network of motorized roller conveyors that seamlessly interface the external delivery operators with the proprietary transport system.
– Elevation & Transfer: Utilizing automated vertical lifters, the components are elevated and transferred directly onto the Electrified Monorail System (EMS), the technological heart of the plant.
– Overhead Carrier Handling:The system deploys 45 self-propelled EMS trolley carriers equipped with specialized hanger fixtures (bilancelle), ensuring dynamic, flexible, and asynchronous load management.
– Automated Just-In-Time Offloading:Equipped with specialized vertical drop sections (discensori) at dedicated maintenance/technical gates, the system ensures millimeter-precise, automated offloading of the seats directly into the final assembly workstations.
