This project optimizes the integration of diversified material handling systems for an electric vehicle (EV) assembly line, ensuring a continuous manufacturing flow and maximum factory floor space management. The vehicle body follows a synchronized logistics path where an EMS (Electrified Monorail System) with overhead carriers guarantees total operator accessibility and ergonomics, while an in-floor slat conveyor provides a highly stable base for step-by-step vehicle advancement. During these crucial phases, the EV is completed with the integration of mechanical and electronic components. The process is supported by parallel sub-assembly lines for doors and powertrain components, which converge onto the main line according to strict Just-In-Time(JIT)cycle times. This lean architecture eliminates bottlenecks and reduces work-in-progress storage, delivering a reliable and flexible solution for the challenges of sustainable mobility.
